The Setup Menu
G OPERATION VOL. (default: c)
Adjust the volume of the sounds produced when camera controls are operated. Choose f
(mute) to disable control sounds.
H SHUTTER VOLUME (default: c)
Adjust the volume of the sounds produced when the shutter is released. Choose f (mute)
to disable the shutter sound.
e SHUTTER SOUND (default: i)
Choose the sound made by the shutter.
I PLAYBACK VOLUME
(default: 7)
Adjust the volume for movie playback.
J LCD BRIGHTNESS
(default: AUTO)
Control the brightness of the display.
Option Description
AUTO
Display brightness is automatically adjusted during shooting in response to
ambient lighting conditions. Brightness is not adjusted during playback.
MANUAL
Press the selector up or down to adjust brightness and then press MENU/OK.
Choose from values between –5 and +5.
