Specifies whether guidance for function is displayed

or not.

[ VIDEO SYSTEM] [NTSC]/[PAL] –

Specifies whether video output is set to [NTSC] or

[PAL].

COMMUNICATION]

[STANDARD]/[IrSS] [STANDARD]

Specifies whether [ IR COMMUNICATION] is

set to [STANDARD] or [IrSS]. Select [STANDARD]

when communicating with a camera or printer,

select [IrSS] when communicating with a TV.

[ RESET] – –

Resets all the camera settings (other than the

[DATE/TIME], [TIME DIFFERENCE],

[BACKGROUND COLOR], [VIDEO SYSTEM], and

[SELECT FOLDER]) to the factory default values

set at shipment. A confirmation message appears

when you press q. To reset the camera settings,

press p or q to select OK and press MENU/OK.

[ PASSWORD] – – Sets the password for the [PRIVATE] folder. 37
