Setting the Shooting Mode

Shutter speed
When shooting a moving subject, you can either “freeze the
motion” or “capture the sense of movement” by adjusting the
shutter speed.

When the correct
exposure cannot be
obtained with selected
shutter speed, the
aperture setting appears
in red. When this occurs,
adjust the shutter speed
again.

the subject is outside the
camera’s brightness
metering range, [F---]
appears as the aperture
setting. When this
occurs, press the shutter
button down halfway to
