Photos and movies can be deleted or copied.

Note that deleted  les can not be recovered. Copy important  les to a computer or other
storage device before proceeding.

Highlight a  le in the photo or movie list (P 12) and press MENU.

Highlight Delete File and press OK.

A con rmation dialog will be displayed; highlight Yes and press OK.
Q If the current folder contains C (MPO) and D (JPEG) images with identical  le names (e.g.,
“DSCF0001.MPO” and “DSCF0001.JPG”), the D le will automatically be erased when the C
le is deleted.
R Files that were protected on the camera can not be deleted.

To copy a  le:

Highlight the  le in the photo or movie list (P 12) and press MENU.

Highlight Copy File and press OK.

A con rmation dialog will be displayed; highlight Yes and press OK.
R A copy option is also available in the external storage pop-up menu (P 11).
R If an image with the same name already exists at the destination, the viewer will automatically
rename the copy by adding “Copy(n)_” to the beginning of the  le name, where n is a number
incremented by 1 each time a copy with the same name is encountered. For example, if you
copy several  les named “DSCF0001.jpg” when a  le with the same name is already present
at the destination, the  rst copy will be renamed “Copy(1)_DSCF0001.jpg”, the second copy
“Copy(2)_DSCF0001.jpg, and so on.
R Copies of protected  les are also protected.
