Shooting Mode
Choose a shooting mode according to the scene or type of subject.
To choose a shooting mode, rotate the mode dial to the desired
setting. The following modes are available:

Auto
Auto
Choose for crisp, clear snapshots (pg. 14). This
mode is recommended in most situations.

Baby Mode
Baby Mode
Choose for natural skin tones when taking por-
traits of infants. The fl ash turns off automatically.

Anti-Blur (Picture Stabilization)
Anti-Blur (Picture Stabilization)
Choose this mode for fast shutter speeds that
reduce blur caused by camera shake or subject
movement.

Red-Eye Reduction
Red-Eye Reduction
Reduce red-eye in portraits taken with the fl ash
under low light (pg. 26).
