Using the Camera
Taking Pictures ([AUTO] Mode)
This section describes the basic operations.
1 Turn the camera on.
APress POWER down fully to turn the camera on.
BSet the Mode dial to q (FinePix A920/FinePix A900/
FinePix A825/FinePix A820/FinePix A800 only).
CAUTION
Step B is only for FinePix A920/FinePix A900/FinePix
A825/FinePix A820/FinePix A800. Since there is no mode
dial on FinePix A610, ignore step B when using that
model.
Holding the camera correctly
CAUTION
Moving the camera while shooting gives a blurred
picture (camera shake). Hold the camera steadily with
both hands.
If the lens or flash is obscured by your fingers or the
strap, subjects may be out of focus or the brightness
(exposure) of your shot may be incorrect.
Check that the lens is clean. If it is dirty (getting
fingerprints on the lens etc.), clean the lens as informed
on p.117.
Continued Q
Brace your elbows
against your sides and
hold the camera with both
hands.
Do not cover the lens or
flash with your fingers.
