Advanced Features — Photography
NATURAL & d
This mode shoots 2 images continuously without flash
and with flash. Shooting with flash allows you to take a
picture of a main subject brightly. Shooting without flash
produces beautiful images that retain the natural
ambience. This mode is useful for shooting 2 different
types of pictures at the same time.
When pressing the shutter button, first picture is taken
without flash and next picture is taken with flash.
Always 2 pictures are taken per 1 shot.
Do not move the camera until the shooting ended.
MEMO
This mode helps to avoid failed shots that may occur
when using other Shooting modes when taking a picture
against the sun, etc.
CHECK
Flash fires automatically. Do not use this mode at
situations where the flash cannot be used.
Only [AUTO] can be selected for the [ ISO]
(sensitivity) setting.
When there is insufficient space on the Memory Card or
internal memory for 2 shots, a picture cannot be taken.
Continuous shooting is disabled when setting .
/ SCENE POSITION
This mode provides the best Scene position setting for the
scene being shot. Choose from 13 types of scene.
Select the Scene position setting in the [SCENE
POSITION] menu.
About and of the Mode Dial
The camera enables to set the scene position for and
separately.
For example, select H for and , for separately at
traveling. The setting combination can be used for variety of
shooting scene. The menu options of and are the
same. However the options cannot be set for both and
.
MEMO
and are set to H and , as factory default
settings.
See p.63 for information on the available flash modes.
When anything other than and in the Shooting
mode is selected, [ p-CHROME] (p.74) cannot
be set.
AF-assist illuminator does not fire in ,, ., , ,
, , and mode.
Only [AUTO] can be selected for the [ ISO]
(sensitivity) setting.
