You can set the aperture by pressing the “R” or

“T” button.

The Shutter Speed and Aperture Setting Display

Use the exposure indicator on the screen as a guide

when setting the exposure.

If the indicator is towards the (+) side, the image is

overexposed. If it is towards the (–) side, the image is

underexposed.

If the brightness of the subject is beyond the range of

brightness the camera can measure, no exposure

indicator appears.

For photographed scenes that are extremely over- or

underexposed, “!” is displayed as the shutter speed.

When this happens, select a higher or lower number

as the aperture setting.

●

When Forced Flash mode is selected, the slowest available

shutter speed is 1/60 sec.

When the brightness of the subject is outside the

camera’s brightness metering range, “----” is

displayed as the shutter setting. When this occurs,

press the Shutter button down halfway to measure

the light level again and display a value.
